The Roadrunners came out on top of the 52 team 17 & Under Division of the Connecticut Select Hoop Challenge Monday at Sacred Heart University in Fairfield Connecticut. The Roadrunners beat the host Connecticut Select team 70 - 47 for the title. The Roadrunners wnt ahed 47 - 30 at the half behind 20 first half points from 6'4" Newark Science Sr. Dewitt Maxwell. Dewitt finished with 26 points and 7 boards. 6'2" Sr. Charles Easterling paced Select with 15 points and 9 rebounds.
