6'8" Pops Mensah-Bonsu from St. Augustine's has made a decision to attend George Washington University in Washington. The long, athletic big man had interest from most of the Atlantic 10 schools. Pops was all over the floor at the Atlantic Cape Camp All star game in July, playing in front of G.W. coaches among others, when he had 9 points, 6 rebounds, 5 steals and 4 assists. Pops transferred into St. Augustine's from the Hun school and gradually worked himself into major minutes, and by the end of the season last season, Pops was one of the key ingredients in a 24 - 3, adn South Jersey Parochial B championship season.
