Matt McKillop shot the lights out this morning in one of the contests at Rutgers Prep Hoopsters Invitational at Rutgers Prep in Somerset. About 60 players from NJ were on hand to show their talents to the D-3 coaches in attendance.
Matt, a NJ newcomer to NJ from North Carolina is the son of Davidson Head Coach Bob McKillop. In the contest we watched, playing with most of his Hun teammates, Matt buried 7 treys, on his way to a 31 point explosion to lead his team to a 73 - 39 victory. 6'2" Mendham Jr. Nick Leonardelli paced the losers with 9 points and 3 assists.
