Tommy Baker sh 801 The Gym Rats surprised the Tim Thomas Playaz Red team 66 - 61 in the quarterfinals of the Sonny Hill Futurestars Tournament at Temple University in Philadelphia this morning. 6'3" Millville Sr. Tommy Baker was the unstoppable offensive force for the Gym Rats with 40 points. Tommy had 16 in the first half to keep the Gym Rats close, down 32 - 28 at the half, and 24 in the second to spark the upset. Tommy drilled 4 treys, and scored almost every conceivable way, most on acrobatic drives to the hoop. 6'10" Sr. John Clark from St. Michael's in Ontario Canada added 11 points and 14 rebounds. 6'3" St. Benedict's Jr. Art Bowers and 6'2" Notre Dame Prep MA Jr. Jamal Warren split 30 for the Playaz.
