Willie Irick teaneck summer mvp Teaneck trimmed Englewood 60 - 59 before a boisterous, capacity crowd in the championship of the Teaneck Summer League Friday night in Teaneck. In the most exciting game of the summer, with the score tied in the final seconds, Teaneck came up with a loose ball and 6'6" Jr. Willie Irick raced towards the basket where he was intentionally fouled with 3 seconds remaining. Willie hit the second free throw for the lead. Teaneck was called for travelling on the ensuing in-bound, giving Englewood a chance for the win. A halfcourt shot at the buzzer was off. Irick, who was named MVP tallied 15 points and 14 rebounds. 6'3" Jr. Jeavon Drakeford paced Englewood with 18.
