JR Smith eastern all star 701 6'5" Lakewood Jr. JR Smith was named MVP of the All Star Game at Eastern Invitational Camp after shooting the lights out with 8 treys, and finishing with 36 points, in a losing effort, as the Red team lost to the White Team 98 - 90. JR buried 7 treys in the second quarter alone, hitting 7 of 10 from deep in the first half, and 8 of 15 for the game.

6'7" Winchendon Prep Sr. Mani Messy led the winners with 27 points and 10 rebounds. 6'3" Sacred Heart CT Jr. Kelvin Davis added 25 points.

The game was played in front of all the kids in camp, who had a great time, loving the multiple slam dunks, and the and one tape type ballhandling moves, frequently jumping out of their seats.
