In a battle of neighborhood rivals, St. Patrick's edged Elizabeth 53 - 49 in the quarterfinals of the Metro Classic Sunday at Seton Hall University. The contest was intense, hard fought and well played. Although the game featured some of the top big men in NJ, in 6'10" St. Patrick's Jr. Grant Billmeier, 6'9" St. Pat's Sr. Paul Williams, and 6'8" Elizabeth Sr. Rashad Robinson, some lesser known players, led the attacks. 5'11" Jr. Jason Patterson led St. Pat's with 16 points. Billmeier added 10 points, 5 rebounds, 5 blocks, and 3 assists. 6'3" Sr. Ibrahim Jaaber paced Elizabeth with 15 points and 7 boards.
